Diplomats stationed in Israel participated in a special tour, organized by the Government Press Office and Teva at the company's Kfar Saba plant.
Participating in the tour was the Sri Lankan ambassador as well as representatives from Denmark, Greece, Turkey, El Salvador, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, Canada, Zambia, Colombia, Hungary and Vietnam, Italy, the Dominican Republic, France, Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Estonia, Kenya and Lithuania. The well-attended tour attests to the strength of the Israeli research and medical industry, the global desire to learn about them and the desire for economic cooperation.
The diplomats were briefed by Mati Gil, Counsel, COO Global Legal Group & Senior Director of Government Affairs, and Yonatan Baker, Director, Corporate Reputation, on the history of the company, its global operations, the medicines it has developed and its innovations in the field.
The diplomats also toured the plant itself and observed part of the manufacturing process and the packaging of medicines made by the company.
