GPO and Erez Crossing Yom Kippur and Sukkot Hours

The Government Press Office (GPO) will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, 11-12 October 2016, for the Yom Kippur holiday, and will reopen Thursday morning, 13 October.

 

The GPO will be closed from Sunday, 16 October, through Monday, 24 October, for the Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah holidays, and will reopen on Tuesday morning, 25 October.

 

Following are the hours during which journalists with valid GPO cards may enter and exit the Gaza Strip via Erez Crossing. (Please note that journalists must have their foreign passports and a valid GPO card to cross into and out of the Gaza Strip. It is the sole responsibility of each journalist to make sure that their passports and GPO cards are up-to-date and contain accurate and correct information.)

 

Tuesday-Wednesday, 11-12 October: Closed

 

Sunday, 16 October: Open until 13:00 for entrance to Israel and until 15:00 for entrance to Gaza

 

Monday, 17 October: Closed (Open for humanitarian cases only.)

 

Tuesday-Thursday, 18-20 October: Open until 13:00 for entrance to Israel and until 15:00 for entrance to Gaza

 

Friday, 21 October: Open until 13:00 for entrance to Israel and until 15:00 for entrance to Gaza

 

Sunday, 23 October: Open until 13:00 for entrance to Israel and until 15:00 for entrance to Gaza

 

Monday, 24 October: Closed (Open for humanitarian cases only.)
