Monday, 16 January
12:00 – President Rivlin will receive at his residence the Israel National Council for the Child “Children in Israel 2016” statistical review, presented by the council’s director, Vered Windman. 18:00 – President Rivlin will attend a special plenary session of the Knesset in memory of Israel’s Ninth President, Shimon Peres. Speaking at the session will be Prime Minister Netanyahu, Speaker of the Knesset Edelstein, and Leader of the Opposition Herzog. Tuesday, 17 January – State Visit of the President of Poland
09:30 - President Reuven Rivlin will host at the President’s Residence, an official welcome ceremony for President of Poland H.E. Andrzej Duda, who will be making an official visit to Israel. The Presidents will stand for the national anthems, before going on to review a guard of honor, and deliver brief public statements. They will then hold a working meeting during which they will discuss the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries.

19:00 – President & First Lady Rivlin will host, at the President’s Residence, a state dinner in honor of the visit of the President and First Lady of Poland. Both Presidents will deliver addresses at the beginning of the evening. Official coverage only.
Thursday, 19 January
11:45 – President Rivlin will address a meeting at his residence of 200 representatives of more than 50 student union bodies in Israel. The meeting will take place in the framework of a seminar held by the National Union of Israeli Students following a resolution taken by the organization to promote partnership between the ‘four tribes’ of Israel as defined by the President’s ‘Israeli Hope’ initiative, and as part of the project’s programs in the field of academia.
